A Young Persons Guide to Business

Join 75 other like-minded students in the West Tamar to explore the ins and outs of business! There will be 3 workshops that cover:
Networking with Confidence
So You Think You Want to Start a Business
Unique Value Proposition and Branding

YAC West Tamar actively work towards achieving objects in the West Tamar Strategy including supporting young people with their career pathways. This event will focus on:

  1. Helping young people in the West Tamar region understand key concepts relating to business.
  2. Sharing inspirational stories of young people who have used business to make an impact.
  3. Building momentum for young people in the West Tamar region.


Registrations are limited with a maximum of 25 students from each high school eligible to attend.
Date: Friday 17th June
Time: 10am-2pm
Venue: Tamar Function Centre
Who: Students year 9 and above in the West Tamar
Cost: free event (includes lunch!)
