Tamar NRM and Clean Up Australia invite you to be part of one of Australia's biggest community clean-up event. Show how much you love our beautiful Tamar Estuary/ kanamaluka by contacting up to register your school, business, community or sporting group, or join one of the many groups scattered along the Tamar for a few hours during this week-long event.
YAC West Tamar have committed to supporting the event by picking up rubbish on Thursday 5th November after school. If you're interested in supporting YAC on the day, please contact us for further information. You can also contact Trish at Tamar NRM to find out about all the locations around the river.
The event wraps up at Riverbend P{ark. Meet Tamar NRM at the Riverbend park BBQ area at 10am on Sunday, November the 8th and help clean up around the park and along the walking track next to Kanamaluka/Tamar Estuary. Bring a hat, bag for rubbish, gloves and a refillable bottle of water. Limited numbers of gloves and bags are available at the site. Let's try to avoid disposable gloves, however gardening gloves are great. Sign in to register on the day.
